  • Lunging with Pole
  • Small circles with increase/decrease
  • Halt & Back up 
  • Travers & hip control
  • You guessed it TROT. TROT. TROT!
  • Straight line trot work – lengthen 
  • Squares & Rectangles at Trot 
  • Circles at the trot
  • Avoid breaking into canter – get the trot fitness up
  • Focus on extended trot work (rising/posting)
  • 15-30mins Trot work
